My name is Susan O'Connor and I have been teaching Spanish for many years. I earned my bachelor's degree at the College of St. Benedict and my master's degree at the University of St. Thomas. While at St. Ben's I earned a degree in Spanish and Secondary Education. I was very lucky to have had the opportunity to study abroad both in Spain and Venezuela. I then went on to start my teaching career at St. Louis Park High School, where I led two different student groups on three week trips through Spain. Learning Spanish, traveling to different countries, immersing myself in new cultures and meeting people from all over the world is a passion of mine. I am looking forward to sharing that passion with my students!
I live in Savage with my husband, Joe, our three children, and our dog, Lulu. Ian is 18 and a senior at Prior Lake High School, Colin is 16 and a sophomore at Prior Lake High School and Ryan is 14 and in 8th grade at St. Michael Catholic School in Prior Lake. We enjoy camping trips, playing and watching sports together and just hanging out! Life is certainly busy!
